This is a 1 owner car. He is a collector that takes exceptional care of his cars. For many years he put on a big display of his cars, including this one, at the world of wheels events. Only a handful of long nose convertibles exist, trump and schwarzenegger each own one. It's a custom hand built conversion by grandeur motor company in miami that was sold new through cadillac dealers across the country. Cost new $21,000 which was double the cost of a stock seville. Only hardtops were available, it then had to be shipped to california to be made a convertible at an additional cost. This one in particular is the classiest, best looking one i've seen. Only 45,000 careful miles have been put on this car. $16,000 was recently spent freshing it up. The 2 tone black and silver paint is polished like glass. Hand pinstriped in red. Replaced all 6 real wire wheels. Interior has custom upholstery and matching top boot. Silver piping matches the silver on the hood. It has all the cadillac accessories like power seats, climate control, cruise etc. The trunk is very nicely lined and carpeted. Includes soft car cover. Motor compartment is clean. The car was actually shortened and stretched! The rear doors and back seat were eliminated. The front end was stretched, side mount wheels and oversized chrome grill were installed. Black convertible top is like new. This car really rides nice. The owner insisted on taking me for a drive because its so impressive. I have put about 25k miles on this car in the past 3 years, a lot of daily driving and some long trips too. This has been my personal car for the past 3 years, i enjoy driving more than showing. I have put about 25k miles on this car in the past 3 years, a lot of daily driving and some long trips too. I would not hesitate jumping in this car and heading cross country. The car has has extensive work done to it, but never a full restoration. While i consider the car to be in great driver condition, it still grabs the crowds and the trophies at any show i would attend, so much that it had become a joke because the car would win trophy's at shows without even being registered! The good, the mechanical upgrades have made the car reliable to drive with superior handling to a stock '59. The chevrolet 350 engine has been previously rebuilt with mild performance upgrades including double hump heads. It always fires right up even after sitting and in the cold. The upgraded dual master power disc brakes give the car great stopping power and without a wandering front end of drum brakes. Air is never a problem, it has 2 compressors and a large volume holding tank. The radial tires also improve the cars ride. Seat belts were added to the rear for my children and a bluetooth stereo was added as well. The stereo is a classic radio that fits in the factory hole with cadillac style knobs, has an amp and 4 speakers that give a concert sound. Heat works, upgraded wiper motor, fuel, speedometer all works. Horn is a loud air powered 2 note horn. Cosmetically, there is a lot new! Most of the chrome has been redone at a cost of thousands! Has all new upholstery. The dash was sent out and redone the right way by just dash at a cost of $3000. At the time, the gauges were rebuilt and the gauge cluster was rechromed as well. It's a pleasure sitting behind the wheel. The repaint is an older driver quality repaint with mostly new weather stripping that has been buffed to a nice finish. The roof sets off the black with a green monster flake finish. The green hand painted pinstripe is a work of art. New custom made hubcaps look awesome. Trunk is finished in a custom fit black carpet and is clean and tidy. The engine bay is nice for a car that's driven often. Batwing air cleaner with pin striping. Undercarriage is driver quality. Car came from arizona but like most 59's has had rust and does have patches. The 1959 cadillac is the only car from the 1950's that is appreciating in popularity and value, they are most desirable and valuable as a custom. Bluetooth

The fit and finish on this car is out standing inside and out. The colors are absolutely striking. It's like a piece of candy thats polished like glass. Has arrow straight body. The chrome, and there is a lot of it, has been replated. Stainless and mouldings have been polished. The interior is just as impressive. It has new proper grain leather mixed with the brocade cloth upholstery. Dash area is gorgeous, the chrome is cleaning and it is wrapped in leather. Headliner has been replaced and still has the original chrome bows. I look at a lot of cars and yes, my overall impression is this thing does show very, very well. The engine compartment has been detailed. Trunk compartment is carpeted. It functions very, very well. Mechanics have been gone through. Only 2,100 sevilles made. This was the pinnacle of gm. Most noticable was the slopping rear trunk line with inboard fins. The lower rear quarters are garnished in chrome that wraps around the rear of the car. This car is impressive.
