The model a pickup was a great little workhorse for ford motor co. The model a was built 1928 to 1931; this one being one of the last to be produced with the indent firewall and larger steel bed. A plain jane with painted radiator shell and head lamps. This is a most original truck that looks repainted 35 to 40 years ago. All ford steel body and fenders with recent painted wire wheels and like new universal tires. Body and fenders excellent - solid good fitting - fenders are very straight. Paint condition is cracked, just the right patina. Shows 27,834 miles; which could be correct. Runs and drives like a model a. Early petroleum companies were proud of their name and brand, and would advertise on their fleet of vehicles. Unfortunately the collectability of these trucks were seldom projected to the future; thus many ended up in scrap yards after their years of faithful survive.
